Let's favour self-consumption with photovoltaic panels

Self-consumption

Self-consumption means consuming the energy you produce at home, for yourself!

This can significantly reduce your electricity bill
Reduce your dependence on an electricity supplier
Produce enough electricity to cover part of the energy needs of your home

Self-consumption is possible thanks to several energy sources: the sun, wind, heat, water.

But it is solar energy that is the most popular with the French. All you have to do is install photovoltaic panels on your roof or in your garden to run your electrical appliances (heating, household appliances, etc.)!

SELF-CONSUMPTION WITH SALE OF SURPLUS ENERGY

It is a grid-connected installation with a single Linky meter that allows two-way metering (production and consumption).

The electricity is :

either consumed instantaneously by the producer ;
or injected into the grid to be sold

The electricity produced by the solar panels is consumed directly on site and the surplus is sold to a buyer.

Once the surplus electricity is purchased by a supplier, it is fed into the local distribution network to supply homes and buildings in the neighbourhood.

Total sale

In order to sell the totality of the solar energy, it is necessary to have the installation connected to the grid with a production meter in parallel with the consumption meter.

All of the electricity produced by the renewable energy is sold.

Some of it can be physically consumed by the producer if consumption and production take place simultaneously: in this case, the electricity produced is first sold via the production meter and then purchased via the consumption meter.

This is known as self-consumption from the point of view of the electricity flow.

What happens to our new and renewable energy?

New and renewable energies

Renewable energy comes from 2 major natural sources: the Sun (which drives the water cycle, tides, wind and plant growth) and the Earth (which releases heat).

Installing solar panels allows you to produce your own electricity at home while respecting the environment.

SOLARCOM-ENR offers you different solutions to exploit these natural energy sources to your advantage and for a better ecology of our beloved planet.

MAKE SAVINGS

According to a report published on 13 October by the International Energy Agency (IEA), solar energy is now the cheapest form of energy in most major countries, becoming more cost-effective than gas or coal.

a sustainable investment

Designed to capture solar energy, photovoltaic panels must be perfectly resistant to cold and bad weather. They are robust and durable, with an average lifespan of 20 to 35 years. This is a real plus for your customers, who are buying for the long term.

SELF-CONSUMPTION WITH SALE OF SURPLUS ENERGY

The surplus electricity produced that is not used can be sold on the national grid. By combining our solutions, you ensure the daytime consumption of the house and generate additional income.

eco-responsible approach

Clean to consume, renewable and inexhaustible, the solar energy collected by photovoltaic panels is part of a truly eco-responsible approach, limiting the use of fossil fuels.

self-consumption

By capturing the sun's energy via their cells, photovoltaic panels make it possible to take advantage of this free energy. This energy can be used in a home or a building dedicated to a tertiary activity, which has a positive impact on your customers' annual electricity bill.

SELF-CONSUMPTION WITH STORAGE

Thanks to renewable energy you have the possibility to store the surplus energy produced by the photovoltaic tiles on batteries, which can guarantee you an optimization of the consumption of locally produced electricity for a deferred use.

MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Eventually, it is normal to ask how much a photovoltaic installation costs in order to establish a budget for installing your own equipment on your premises. The price varies depending on the type of installation you want to do.

Most installations are estimated to cost between 2200€ and 4000€ including labour, depending on the size of your premises.

Ecological point of view :

The photovoltaic solar panel contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions, to the reduction of polluting discharges and to the preservation of natural resources.

The photovoltaic solar panel contributes to the evolution of consciousness towards the preservation of nature.
Photovoltaic solar panels are recyclable.

Economic point of view:

The possibility of a reduced VAT rate of 10% in 2021), tax-free income if the power does not exceed 3 kwc (for sale to EDF)

A lucrative resale price of photovoltaic electricity (still sold to EDF more expensive than its purchase, feed-in tariff of photovoltaic electricity at 17,97 c€/kWh (tariff in the 4th quarter of 2020).
A very good profitability and a fast amortization. (due to the fall in the price of photovoltaic installations divided by 2 in 5 years).

A safe long-term forecast of the investment and the return (whether for self-consumption with or without sale of surplus or simply total sale of electricity).
The value of a house is increased by the installation of a photovoltaic system (whether for sale to EDF or for self-consumption)

Self-consumption of energy in strong development since 2016 which is really confirmed in 2021. (representing about 95% of the current market for individuals),
A very strong increase in the price of electricity in 2021: +7% => economic advantage increasingly important in 2021 for self-consumption via solar photovoltaic panels.

Depending on the installation you want to do, the installation can be simplified with a guide offered by SOLARCOM-ENR to help you install your solar equipment.

Like any industrial product, a photovoltaic cell is necessarily made up of various materials whose extraction is not neutral from an environmental and social point of view. The production of solar panels in China, strongly encouraged by state subsidies, has exploded in recent years and has contributed to a considerable drop in prices, all too often to the detriment of the workers in the production plants and of nature.

The solution is ecological from a renewable point of view, not a material one

In order to encourage the use of renewable energies, the State has set up several schemes to help individuals finance their energy-saving work.

The purchase obligation
As a private individual, thanks to the purchase obligation system, you can inject electricity into the network and sell it to a buyer at a price set by law. This mechanism ensures a normal return on the capital invested over the lifetime of the installations.

The photovoltaic producer can sell all or part of the electricity he produces.

The feed-in tariffs are set by decree and change every quarter.

Example
For a 3 kWp photovoltaic installation, the producer receives 18.49 c€/kWh if he sells all of his production or 10 c€/kWh if he only sells the surplus.
